Maxine Sharavsky
Maxine earned her B.A. in music theory and composition from Brown University, where she studied jazz and classical voice and sang with the University Chorus and Chamber Choir, as well as the women's a cappella group, the Ursa Minors. During her years as the Ursas' musical director, she produced the group's third studio album, The Little Black Dress, which was recognized by the Contemporary a Cappella Society (CASA) as one of the top ten female collegiate albums of 2005. She also contributed arrangements and consulted on the group's CARA-nominated fourth album, Minor Details.

Maxine resides in New York City and works as a managerial associate at IMG Artists, a performing arts management agency representing singers, conductors, instrumentalists, dance companies and special attractions worldwide. She is a certified adjudicator for the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and has been a producer for the ICCA tournament for three years. She has also been a judge for the 2006-2008 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, currently sings with the Grace Church Choral Society of New York, and freelances as a cantorial, family and children's musician at Jewish congregations throughout the Northeast. In addition to her professional involvements in music, she is an avid musical theater follower and film music admirer.
